This research paper focuses on analysing the new enlargement methodology and providing a critical review of the European integration process of Albania. The aim is to provide a few insights on the level or preparedness of Albania for the accession negotiations and what would the role of the Albanian parliament and other institutions be in this regard. It concludes with the findings on the shortcomings and challenges ahead for the country.
